full of representations of Georges life at that time. The churns remind me of two people sitting under the shade in love.
It was around this time the 50's that George was working on a graphic design project in Cardiff. As he was getting ready to drive back home he decided to take what he thought was a short cut through the mining valleys. As he drove through the winding roads meeting valley after valley of mining community. With the houses all seemingly glued to the sides of the hills, the winding gear with its great metal structures and the vast slag heaps, it
