This piece is, as can be seen, representative of the whole universe, its beauty and the way it works like a giant clock going on and on constantly growing.

The reference to balance, to humanity and nature, the amazing way in which we seem able always to tip or upset this balance. The way nature works, everything having its role to play and the delicate balance of its functions, the way the sea regulates the temperature, etc. I see it as a giant machine and us being just another cog in its workings. But being one of its greatest influences outside of nature.

It's also about my life, the different times the need for balance I feel in all things relating to my life.
